Mobility and economic boom in China

China – the Middle Kingdom, land of the economic miracles and also centre of the automobile industry. Due to growing wealth and the significant need to catch up, the country has become the world’s biggest automobile market – by 2020, there are sup-posed to be 200 million vehicles on Chinese streets. Traffic chaos and jams are a result but not a barrier at all for the population: Random selections of road licensing and daily restrictions are expected to regulate traffic. There is no end in sight – China’s car-boom has just begun.
